For AI-based attendance:

  • Facial recognition data (converted into encrypted biometric templates)

  • No raw facial images are permanently stored unless explicitly authorized by institution policy.

C. Classroom Analytics Data

  • Attendance timestamps

  • Presence duration

  • Aggregated engagement metrics

  • Classroom occupancy statistics

D. Device Information

  • Device model

  • Operating system version

  • App version

  • IP address (for security and fraud prevention)

E. Usage Data

3. How We Use Information

We use collected data for:

4. Facial Recognition & Biometric Data Handling

If facial recognition is activated by the institution:

  • Raw images are not stored unless specifically required by institutional policy.

  • Data is used solely for attendance and security purposes.

  • Biometric templates are deleted upon:

  1. Student graduation
  2. Employee exit
  3. Institutional request

We comply with applicable Indian data protection regulations, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023 where applicable.

  • We do not directly collect data from children without institutional authorization.

We retain data:

    • As long as the institution maintains an active subscription

    • As required for academic record purposes

    • As required by law

Upon contract termination, data is securely deleted within a defined retention period unless legally required to retain it.
